More of Kaden from MLK Jr. Day

Before I post the photos and the rest of the videos of the Bruiser (as Great Aunt Denise calls him) I wanted to just tell that my birthday party was fun. 13 friends joined me, Mom & Gina at Doyle's and all but 2 went on to the improv show with us after dinner. The service at Doyle's was great and food was decent. They even put a candle on my piece of Italian Cream Cake so I could make a wish. The improv show would have been better if the audience hadn't included 15 very rowdy tweeners. But, all in all, it was a nice way to celebrate my 53rd year on the planet.

And now, on to the photos!

Gina was not pleased that her nap was interrupted when the gang arrived...

But once she saw those big blue eyes, she didn't mind waking up!

Of course I had to greet him with the typical toss in the air.

Then he was double teamed by grandma and great grandma!

Daddy to the rescue!

On more than one occasion!

He is a bundle of energy - that's for sure!

Taking all the books out of the bookshelf was a lot of fun!

And Alena took the opportunity to make it a learning moment!

A good time was had by all.

Latest Kaden Videos

Lori came over to Mom's with her crew on MLK, JR. day and Kaden was the focus of all the attention. Of course. I got a chance to spend some quality time showing him the marina while everyone else played Mexican Train. The boy is a genius - I swear he said 'Boat' after I had said "See the boat." about 100 times. Well, honestly, it was more like "Bo!" but still he seemed to understand the concept :-)

Got a few photos I'll post tomorrow or the next day, but here's a video to see the boy in action.
