- No doubt you can tell I'm a Trekker. Took a SeaTrek Cruise to Alaska in 2007 and met several of the Trek stars, including Connor Trineer, Denise Crosby, Robert Picardo, and Ethan Phillips. Made some great friends on that cruise who encouraged me to attend the Las Vegas Convention in 2008. It was a blast and I even spoke to Lt. Uhura (Nichelle Nichols) briefly in the Hilton casino - such a thrill!

I have many warm memories of your dad and of your entire family. I was taken back in time to memories of Cozette. Won't she be glad to see your dad? David and I have previous committments on Saturday so will be unable to be at the memorial service but our thoughts and prayers will be with your family.

i never met grandpa root but josh and steve have told me many stories about him. i only wish i could have met him.....

Well, hello, Gina Root. I'm so sorry we haven't met and equally sorry that you didn't have the opportunity to know Grandpa Root (my Bob). Hopefully, some day in the near future we will have an opportunity to remedy that situation. Give Josh my love and tell him we miss him. Take good care of those sweet little great-granddaughters.
