Complaining Seems To Do Some Good...

I let Rod, the new sales rep, know I was unhappy with the off-white hardiplank and check it out! Still not as dark a color as I'd like, but it beats the heck out of the pale it was.

Not much different than last week when Mom & I went out. We do have a new door on the back porch.

And the glass bricks have been installed in the master bath. Hard to see because it's so dark (no electricity in the house yet) but you get the idea.

We also now have AC ducts and insulation throughout the house.

So, they clearly have still been working on it. Rod says he expects our close date to be during the week of May 20, but won't know for certain until the building foreman tells him when all the final inspections are scheduled. Looks like next week we'll see bricks on the outside and sheetrock on the inside because both are on site now.

Gotta get back to packing now.
